Business Code of Conduct

1. INTRODUCTION

Our Business Code of Conduct, the foundation of our Mission and Strategy, aims to guide the personal and professional conduct of all our employees, regardless of their position or role, and to regulate their relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and representatives of the communities with which E.A. BUSINESS GOALS interacts.

The materialisation of the Principles and Values of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS is reflected in the daily actions of its employees, in accordance with agreed ethical practices.

As a set of ethical rules that impose themselves on the collective conscience as a behavioural model, the provisions of this Business Code of Conduct are not exhausted in their stipulations and should be regarded as a reference of high moral standards of conduct that the Company and all those who work in and for it must respect and follow.

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Business Conduct Code applies to all employees of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS and its Agents, whose control or operational management is held, directly or indirectly, by E.A. BUSINESS GOALS, without prejudice to other applicable legal or regulatory provisions or those to which they are obliged by virtue of the exercise of their functions, as well as – with the necessary adaptations – to permanent or temporary employees, representatives, external auditors, and other individuals who provide services to them on a permanent or occasional basis.

In this sense, "collaborators" should be understood as all members of the governing bodies, leaders, and collaborators of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS.

By "Clients" it should be understood as individuals or entities to whom E.A. BUSINESS GOALS provides its products or renders its services.

By "suppliers" it should be understood as individuals or entities that provide products to E.A. BUSINESS GOALS or render services to it.

By "Stakeholders" it should be understood as individuals or entities with whom E.A. BUSINESS GOALS interacts in its business, institutional, and citizenship activities, including Clients, suppliers, collaborators, investors, and representatives of the communities with which it engages.

3. OUR PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

The observance of the Law, regulations, regulatory provisions, and behaviours grounded in integrity, ethics, transparency, and honesty is a commitment of all and each of the employees of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS, which characterises the entire organisation in relation to the community in which it operates.

The conduct of business and corporate activities of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS must be carried out within a framework of transparency, professionalism, rigor, good faith, and with full respect for competition rules, based on a clear defence of the principles of sustainable development as affirmed by International Institutions and Conventions.

In the development of its activities, E.A. BUSINESS GOALS upholds fundamental and universal human rights, which are inalienable and essential, promoting the principles of equality and solidarity while rejecting all forms of discrimination and corruption. In this regard, E.A. BUSINESS GOALS operates within the framework of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations and the International Labour Organization.

Each collaborator, by fully autonomously committing to respect and follow these principles, is reaffirming the corporate values and contributing to bringing E.A. BUSINESS GOALS closer to achieving its Vision: “To be an Angolan company that aims to establish itself as a leading provider of multiple services.”

4. RULES OF CONDUCT AND RELATIONS WITH STAKEHOLDERS

4.1. RELATIONS WITH CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS

E.A. BUSINESS GOALS will promote compliance with the regulations and safety practices in force among its Clients and suppliers, paying special attention to the implementation of preventive safety measures for people and property. The employees of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS must conduct their behaviour in an ethical, professional, and respectful manner, promoting civility, friendliness, and professional pride in their relationships with Clients and suppliers, as well as respect for their respective rights, observing and demanding compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining a relationship in accordance with good customs and commercial and ethical practices. The selection and hiring of suppliers must adhere to transparent, fair, and impartial criteria, taking into account not only commercial conditions but also their ethical and professional behaviour.

The employees of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS commit to not establishing or maintaining relationships with Clients and suppliers that are not aligned with the spirit of this Code, and to adopting immediate and rigorous measures in cases where the ethical conduct of those involved is questionable, namely reporting such situations to the respective hierarchy.

4.2. RELATIONS OF E.A. BUSINESS GOALS WITH EMPLOYEES

The collaborators are an essential element for the pursuit of the strategies, objectives, and goals of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS.

E.A. BUSINESS GOALS is committed to promoting respect for equal opportunities for all its employees, developing a company culture that values and encourages teamwork and the sharing of knowledge and information.

All practices, policies, and labour procedures of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS are aimed at preventing discrimination and differential treatment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, marital status, physical disability, political orientation or opinions of any other nature, ethnic or social origin, nationality, or trade union association.

E.A. BUSINESS GOALS guarantees the safeguarding of the moral integrity of its employees, ensuring their right to working conditions that respect their individual dignity and does not permit any form of moral or psychological coercion, nor offensive behaviours towards human dignity.

4.3. THE COLLABORATORS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR FUNCTIONS

The collaborators, in the development of their professional activities, while mandated to do so by E.A. BUSINESS GOALS, must observe the principles of loyalty, rigor, transparency, efficiency, and openness to the market, with all their actions, operations, and negotiations guided by the compliance with the principles of integrity and transparency of information, by the formal and substantial legitimacy of their actions, and by the clarity, truthfulness, and legitimacy of supporting documents, all in accordance with current regulations and internal procedures, and with the commitment and professional rigor required.

Any practice of corruption is prohibited, in all its active and passive forms, whether through acts and omissions or by creating and maintaining situations of favour or irregularities, being ethically reprehensible and repudiated by E.A. BUSINESS GOALS.

The employees of E.A. BUSINESS GOALS will refuse any offers that exceed mere courtesy or have significant commercial value that could be considered or interpreted as likely to create expectations of favouritism in their business relationships with E.A. BUSINESS GOALS.
